Wow hadn't seen this story yet Audrey but yeah, have to agree with you here. I think we're seeing governments getting too involved with social media as a whole. All of these platforms, twitter, facebook, & I'll include riothouse, are opt-in free services. They are pretty open about the fact that they take the data we voluntarily give them to profit from. If Trump had an email group consisting of private citizens he sent messages to but decided to remove a handful of folks from that group is that unconstitutional - absolutely not!
Damn Apples I feel for you man! I had a friend in college who go to the point she couldn't sit in class & dropped out to do an online university. Her solution sounds crazy but it worked: let the panic attack happen, she decided one day to face it and say "bring it on" and actually want them to happen so she could stare them down and slowly they decreased, never went away she said but the fear of them was managable. Good luck!!!
I really really hate that the answer I hear from so many is 'MORE GUNS!' Like the others said I get having trained police in schools but teachers, really, come on!
What's a workable solution long-term solution? Jail etc. is temporary and doesn't fix the overall recurring issue....
This exactly! Studies also show that video games are no different in kids brains than movies or tv shows. Why is it that just because video games are interactive that they are more dangerous?
Think about the high school kids who want to get a job to start saving for college. No one wants to hire a high school student for $15/hr.
