Many webpages are paid by the view. You don't necessarily have to click on the ad for them to make money.

You get to browse the internet for free because of ads. Content creators won't work for free. Ask yourself if you would rather pay a fee to use a site or have the small inconvenience of a few advertisements.

A benefit to the twelve month calendar is 12 is an easily divisible number. Half a year is six months. Quarterly is three months. 13 on the other hand is a prime number.

No, "assault weapons," like the AR, are semi-automatic guns that are functionally the same as most other guns. They look scary because they have features that make them look like assault rifles, but aren't as lethal. Assault rifles, or machine guns, have been banned since 1986.

To millions of children in America, bullies are their fears. I don't condone the use of weapons, but these kids need to fight back.

You know it's a weird election when the Speaker of the House won't endorse his own party's nominee.

He hasn't been given a proper chance to thrive. He's been on arguably the worst team in the league (the Browns) and he has never had a secured starting position. When you don't get starter reps during practice, you aren't as prepared as you should be.

It most certainly makes them better presidents. Military leaders understand that the lives of their people hang on their every decision. They know how the smallest of decisions could have huge impacts whether it be lives lost or international relationships broken.

That's simply not true. Take a look at some of these examples of how political correctness is taking over America.

College is about way more than just what you major in. It helps you develop critical thinking and networking skills. That is why some jobs don't care what type of degree you have. It shows that you are able and willing to learn and that is what is most important because there is a learning curve wherever you get a job, regardless of your degree.

They have a history of not nominating big blockbusters. It seems like they are getting a little better about it but it was definitely the reason that Star Wars wasn't nominated. You'd think they would have a lighter opinion on a blockbuster as influential and record breaking as The Force Awakens.

The academy is a bunch of old conservatives that never nominate blockbusters. The more explosions there are, the less chance you have of getting nominated for Best Picture.

They promised away too many free ones with their kickstarter and now we are paying for it. I think it's something like $5 million in free Rifts they are giving away.

97% of criminals who are in jail will get out. If we do not give them a positive education while they are in jail, they will be receiving a different form. They will become even harder criminals and when they get out we will have a bigger problem.

January 11, 2017 14:46:22

In the long term, it will save the taxpayer money by these criminals not returning to prison.

They take easy classes because there is literally no time for a harder degree. Athletics is a full time job (40 hours a week). Try balancing and engineering degree with a full time job. Not gunna happen!

The meds are a godsend. For all those out there who tout natural approaches and more exercise, you obviously haven't lived the reality of having a kid with ADHD. Our child is very bright, well-behaved, and active in varsity sports. She also functions very poorly without medication.
