Rapey no definitely not - agree it's super pushy and annoying although she does seem to keep stringing him along with lines like 'well maybe just half a drink more.' He's not asking her to go somewhere with him, just to stay. People are becoming waaaay too sensitive nowadays. Some of us like it when a guy is a little persistent ;)

Religious exemption preserves religious freedom, which benefits us all. That is why Senator Ted Kennedy cosponsored and President Bill Clinton signed the Religious Freedom Restoration Act. It is now federal law that religious institutions are tax exempt.

I agree. I’m not religious, but you don’t see the local atheist groups down at the soup kitchen on weekends. I don’t mind paying a slight amount more taxes so that churches can stay.

If we are to the point where everyone is getting genetically modified into super humans, I think we would have the ability to simply modify this new threat away.

While it’s easy for 18 year olds to get alcohol in our current system, lowering the age will just make it more accessible to even younger kids. Currently you have to be well into college to legally buy alcohol and they buy it for other college students (18 and over). Moving it to 18 means that high school seniors would be able to purchase legally and they would buy it for other high school students (14-17).
