I think that story got blown out of the water. Shkreli raised the price of that ancient drug in order to develop a newer, better working one. You can't make new drugs without money.

That's all well and good but what about the 2,000 child offenders serving life without the chance of parole that @MoMoneyMoProblems was talking about? Are they going to have their sentences changed?

October 17, 2017 17:03:33

How is it dangerous to call the media untrustworthy? I think it's more dangerous not to trust everything you read or watch on tv. Americas trust in the media is at a historical low.

October 5, 2017 17:19:02

The Giants and OBJ are fine. Once they win this stuff will all go away. Learning to lose is an important thing for young talented athletes.

October 4, 2017 16:06:52

It doesn't hurt to raise a child religious. It teaches strong values that they may not learn otherwise. Once they become old enough, they will decide for themselves if they want to continue to believe.

We'd really need a lot more statistics to be able to draw any sort of conclusion about the cause. Is this uniquely football or is it happening in all sports? Were the games that they were comparing divisional? Was Peyton Manning in one of the games? So many factors can go into why there wasn't as many people watching and I don't think it could all amount to a few players protesting.

Hotels hang it over and sometimes add the little fold at the end. I can't think of anywhere that replaces toilet paper more so it must be right.

August 25, 2017 13:25:37

@TacoCat says that her son already plays soccer. I argue he can learn all those lessons through any sport, not just football.

August 22, 2017 14:25:35

Exactly! If Muslims want to live in our countries, they have to obey our rules. The same would be expected of us if we moved to their countries.

August 15, 2017 17:21:29

The previous rules made it almost impossible to compete in the Olympics. Having surgery and at least two years of hormones is a long endeavor. Most Olympic athletes are only in their prime for a few years. By the time a transgender athlete went through the process of being eligible, they may not be physically capable anymore.

Nothing is gained from the sites not allowing people using Adblock to view their pages. The people who use Adblock are the type of people who never plan on clicking on an ad. All it does is drive away part of the sites viewer base.

If a 3rd party gets 5% of the popular vote this year, then they will get federal funding like the 2 major parties do, next presidential election and the one after the fact. With federal funding and if they were included in debates and town halls, they could certainly stand a chance.

July 20, 2017 14:10:46

I play and find myself tripping over shit left and right. It's really that captivating! This guys fell in a pond while playing... A POND!

July 11, 2017 15:23:56

"To be clear, this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences. To the contrary, those individuals are often subject to security or administrative sanctions. But that is not what we are deciding now."

But an AR-15 fires extremely fast and can carry a lot of ammo. Doesn't matter how small the bullets are, they will still kill people.

July 5, 2017 19:04:54

I think his argument about how good the gun is at killing is the best argument against it being legal for everyday citizens. I have no problems with military or law enforcement to carry AR-15's, but its definitely overkill (no pun intended) for me or you.

June 13, 2017 16:40:06

Computer games are a hobby, not a sport. Sitting at a desk clicking a mouse =/= sport.

June 7, 2017 16:01:02

He is trying to break his addiction. He is just getting help to do it. Are heroin addicts wrong for going to rehab to break their addiction?

June 1, 2017 13:49:02

I agree to a certain extent. Violence should always be the last option, but every situation is unique.

May 24, 2017 16:18:19

I would certainly care if someone next to me brought on scissors to use as a weapon!

May 11, 2017 19:03:05

That's like saying Fosters is the most iconic Australian beer. Fosters is owned by a British company and Budweiser is owned by a Belgian company. They may try to brand themselves to be "America" and "Australian for beer" but technically they aren't.

May 10, 2017 18:45:21

A lot of Republican voters don't like Trump and the fact that even party members won't back him proves their point that he isn't a good candidate.

May 5, 2017 16:56:27

I foresee an OJ-style future for Johnny. He's got some serious issues off the field.

April 18, 2017 13:42:54

Shaq, Magic, and West said Kobe is the Laker GOAT. I don't think there's much of a debate about it when all the other options admit to Kobe being the best.

April 18, 2017 11:28:58

Your username checks out. It doesn't matter what they "think" the money is going towards. If it hasn't been used illegally it shouldn't be taken. It isn't illegal to have a lot of cash.

April 8, 2017 13:43:17

They still pay a good portion of their taxes. Probably more than they should even. Why should they have to pay so much for something they use so little?

March 23, 2017 15:20:41

Without criticism, we can't grow as a species. It may hurt people's egos, but we must learn to accept it for what it is. It's not always "disrespectful to others based on their demographics" and you don't have to be a jerk to be called non-pc.

March 15, 2017 17:11:52

Seriously! Hospices are basically medically assisted suicide anyways. They pump you full of so many painkillers that you don't know what is happening.

March 3, 2017 21:03:11

U.S. debt isn't the same as personal debt. U.S. debt is sold as a point of investment in the form of government bonds. These bonds do not come due all at once and we have never defaulted on any of them.

March 3, 2017 20:03:22

Trump has not proposed a single thing that he would do as president that he can back up with a plan. Why do you trust him at his word?

February 19, 2017 15:57:28

It's too bad this is coming out at this point in his career when people should be celebrating his achievements. Now it's what some people are going to remember him for.

February 17, 2017 17:28:24

Good for Apple and Tim Cook for standing up for what you believe in, even at the behest of your own government. No doubt the government would abuse the backdoor technology every chance it gets.

February 9, 2017 14:34:24

I think the main issue with trying to colonize Mars is going to be that in its current state, there’s no way to be self-sufficient. We need to figure out a way to terraform the planet so we can have animals, and birds, and fish, and rivers, etc. Elon Musk was saying a fast way to accomplish this would be to drop nuclear bombs on the poles. This could drastically warm up the planet and its atmosphere.

February 8, 2017 20:24:33

Besides the gender differences, women in the military means sex and relationships. With sex and relationships comes drama breaking up the “band of brothers” mentality that soldiers are supposed to have. It also has led to pregnancies and even prostitution.

February 4, 2017 19:36:46

The answer is LeBron hands down. Curry isn't even the second choice, Kevin Durrant is.

February 3, 2017 20:28:13

You're not the only person who hates Hilary Clinton.

January 29, 2017 14:04:49

In the past two years there have been however many white nominees and zero black nominees. That's 0%.

January 26, 2017 18:57:44

Where are all the Asians? Where are all the Hispanics? Where are all the blacks? It's not an accident that every candidate for best actor, best actress, best supporting actor, and best supporting actress are ALL white for two years in a row!

January 22, 2017 20:22:17

You can also get customers who tip extremely well. In the end it evens out.

January 22, 2017 18:01:34

It just feels like they are getting lazy. Same thing goes for the movie posters. I saw this video the other day that really shows how little effort went into making them.

January 22, 2017 17:39:45

Testing on animals is archaic. Scientists have developed humane, modern, and effective non-animal research methods, including human-based microdosing, human-patient simulators, and sophisticated computer modeling, that are quicker, less expensive, and more accurate than animal tests.

January 22, 2017 15:46:26

It's more likely that he didn't commit the crime and the police are setting him up. They didn't like the Avery family from the beginning. You hear the one cop saying when they lock up Steven and Brendan they will have cut off the bloodline. So you take the fact that they hated him and add the fact that he was suing them for a small fortune and it starts to make a lot of sense why they set him up.

January 21, 2017 16:36:09

Who in their right mind would sit through 10 minutes of credits just to see trailers for upcoming movies that they could just watch online or during commercials? They will never return to having them after the movie.

January 21, 2017 16:32:53

Exactly. Concussions aren't the only head injury that needs preventing. Without helmets we would see a lot more cracked skulls, broken noses, lost teeth, you name it.

January 14, 2017 18:42:20

They are saying he spit in someones face during the game too. Spit! So disrespectful and such a schmuck!

January 14, 2017 18:39:46

Virtual reality is a new technology. Obviously it is going to be expensive. If you are that concerned, just wait a few years and it will be down to the price range you are more comfortable with. Look at 4k tvs, they cost a small fraction of what they did when they first came out. Honestly, I am surprised that the Oculus Rift is only $600. I think they could have charged more.

December 1, 2016 13:00:29

If you continue to pre-order video games, developers will continue to release half-finished games. You are paying them for a product that they haven’t finished yet.

November 24, 2016 20:18:13

There are many reasons that people may not want to be organ donors and that doesn’t make them bad people. Some people want to have an open-casket funeral. It is also against many people’s religions including Roman Catholic, Islam, most branches of Judaism, and most Protestant faiths.

November 24, 2016 20:08:12

Drudge.   Enough said.

November 24, 2016 15:26:55

You’re killing employers by doing this. They can’t afford to pay bathroom cleaners $17/hr. That’s ridiculous. If this became the case, it would lower the amount of people starting their own companies and consequently lower the amount of jobs on the market.

November 24, 2016 15:25:43

Currently, if you could earn $8.00/hr. working the cash register or earn $12.00/hr. cleaning the bathrooms, you would take the cleaning job because of the higher salary. Now say they raise the minimum wage to $15.00/hr., who would take the cleaning job over the cashier? No one. You would take the easier job.

November 19, 2016 17:43:09

Goodell wants an 18 game season but can’t justify it with the amount of injuries in the past. He is cracking down on penalties in order to try and keep players safer so people will have no argument against expanding to an 18 game season.
