Remember that pharmaceutical executive Martin Shkreli who bought the AIDS drug Daraprim and raised the price %5000. How else can you explain such a high price raise other than corporate greed?

October 11, 2016 16:18:12

He was calm and cool in his last game against the Packers and played really well. Just goes to show what a good attitude will do for you.

September 19, 2016 15:17:10

Twitter started streaming the games and over 2 million people watched the Thursday night game on it. The decrease in cable viewers could be because of this. http://www.recode.net/2016/9/16/12943246/how-many-people-watched-nfl-twitter

Also, they can incorporate wireless headphones but not wireless charging? I'd much prefer wireless charging to the "AirPods."

It's all about line of sight. You accidentally use more paper when you don't have a good view of where you are ripping. http://knowyourmeme.com/photos/78285-the-great-toilet-paper-debate

Why does this question only ever get brought up before a national presidential election? People would be way more inclined to vote third party if they were making consistent grassroots campaigns at the local levels.

July 25, 2016 12:05:01

I could see a third party candidate getting quite a few votes this election. I don't think they will be anywhere close to Trump or Clinton but who knows.

July 20, 2016 14:34:37

Hatching isn't the only reason somebody would want to play while driving. You can still catch pokemon while driving. I agree with @ReadMoreBrooks that the game should not work at all above a certain speed.

July 6, 2016 13:37:55

The AR-15 uses a very small round, much smaller and with less take down power than most hunting rifles. Also, do you know how much damage you could do with a 12 gauge shotgun?

June 13, 2016 18:50:01

I would define eSports and chess as a competition. Sports require physical exertion, just as the definition states. Doesn't matter how popular it is or becomes, popularity doesn't make it a sport.

June 10, 2016 13:02:35

I agree. USA Swimming just banned him for life. He is no longer eligible for a USA Swimming membership and will not be allowed to compete in any USA Swimming-sanctioned events, including the Olympic Trials.

June 2, 2016 20:19:10

That is a good point. I will agree that people with disabilities don't qualify for my argument.

June 2, 2016 18:25:06

He says the chance of him losing weight on his own is slim, but that means that he could do it on his own. He just doesn't want to do the work.

May 25, 2016 17:29:10

I agree that the reason that the TSA was created post 9/11 was due to people being afraid, but it had nothing to do with arbitrary job creation. The TSA serves more as security theater to make people feel safer than they actually are.

May 11, 2016 19:48:33

Who honestly cares? I'll bet Peyton Manning is pretty excited!

May 10, 2016 17:10:02

Yeah because Trump is known for making sensible decisions, right?

May 5, 2016 16:58:23

He hasn't thrown his life away. He has tons of time to turn himself around. That road will have to lead through the the CFL or something though because no team is going to pick him up until they see he can keep his shit together and play football.

April 20, 2016 14:55:39

To be honest, you will only find opinions in this debate. There is no way of definitively saying who the best is. I will say that Kobe is the best because I grew up watching him. I never got to see Magic or Kareem play and certainly didn't see Wilt play.

April 13, 2016 16:01:55

Not at all @Blorker11 It ensures that teenagers who are physically male or female use the appropriate locker room, it prevents pedophiles from lurking on little girls while they use the bathroom, and makes people more comfortable doing something that they are not comfortable doing in front of the opposite sex.

April 13, 2016 15:01:48

Why do we need state laws that protect religion when we have the first amendment?

April 7, 2016 18:03:57

I kind of agree with you. In some countries, the government doesn't provide nearly as much for its citizens as the US does. Therefore, I could see your argument working if you are talking about people from those kind of places. In America, there is no way you don't use government services (directly or indirectly).

March 21, 2016 16:15:01

Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me. Gay marriage is legal in America. It’s not like western society is forcing chemical castration anymore. ‘Faggot’ and ‘gay’ are literally just words. It’s not taking real action – its whining.

March 21, 2016 15:37:26

Political correctness is reaching ludicrous levels in society. People are nit-picking the tiniest issues in jokes and off-handed remarks and considering them rude and ignorant. I think it’s actually detrimental to the cause that they are trying to support. Instead of toughening up and striving for positive solutions, they focus on the negatives. Everyone will face some sort of adversity in their lifetime and instead of complaining about it they need to face it. Real change comes from real actions. Stand-up comedy is a prime example. You know society has lost its edge when Seinfeld (a clean comedian) thinks it’s bad. It’s their job to poke fun at you. Take it for what it is – a joke!

March 15, 2016 17:23:53

Sorry to hear about your grandmother. This law came just a little too late. Fortunately for the rest of us, it came just in time for President Trump.

March 9, 2016 19:36:10

I agree. To add to that, a console costs about $300. A gaming PC costs at a minimum $900 and is usually more like $1500.

March 3, 2016 15:51:17

We should be focusing on how many people live in poverty, not the ratio of incomes from the rich to the poor. There seems to be this common idea that the rich are stealing all the wealth from the poor which ignores the fact that we live in a system that creates wealth. It's the rich who give the poor the loans to start their own companies creating wealth.

February 24, 2016 21:35:12

Especially with all the different types of majors out there. I'll be damned if I am going to pay for some kid to get his philosophy major. That doesn't come back to benefit me or society in the slightest.

February 22, 2016 18:23:41

Greek life facilitates socialization which is an extremely important part of college learning. It leads to better careers and networking and is a big selling point for colleges.

February 16, 2016 19:18:35

What about Medicare, Medicaid, section 8 housing, food stamps, Social Security...? those aren't public works, those are prime examples of redistribution of wealth and are "socialized" or payed for by taxpayer money.

February 10, 2016 18:02:11

It doesn't matter that abortion is only 3% of what they do. It should be 0%. If I murdered people, but only 3% of the time, does that make me a good person? Not by a long shot.

February 9, 2016 17:28:34

Two things: First, we need to plan ahead. By starting to work on colonizing Mars now does not mean we will be done in a few years. It is going to take a very long time until we had a colony up and running. Who knows what could happen in the near future but it is always better to plan ahead. Second, finding alien life would do a lot more for us than simply answering the question. We could learn how other lifeforms adapted and were able to survive, which could, in turn, teach us how to better adapt and survive.

February 4, 2016 18:34:28

If I have a weak supporting cast, give me LeBron - he can make a shitty team an above average team. If I have a strong supporting cast, give me Curry. Overall, I think LeBron is the more dominant player who can carry any team he is put on.

February 1, 2016 17:51:27

It really is a joke. Winston was at center, OBJ at Safety, Sherman at WR. Even the commentators kept talking about how no one was trying.

January 22, 2016 17:24:57

You have to imagine that they are all doing this... Most just aren't as incompetent at leveling it off properly.

January 22, 2016 16:14:14

I agree, people need to realize that this is a television show intended to get you all worked up. I saw an interview with one of the reporters who followed the case and they said a ton of information from the trial was left out of the show. It seems like every Facebooker and Tumblrer thinks they are experts on the case and have a degree in criminal justice having watched a few hours of Netflix.

January 20, 2016 15:41:49

Anyone else excited to Ram It? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxkKlzInR4Y

January 20, 2016 15:33:16

To be honest, it wasn't a very original movie. It relies heavily on nostalgia and paying homage to its source material. The reason it made so much money and is so popular isn't because of this movie itself. People are fans of the other movies and whole Star Wars universe. It could have been an awful movie (like Episode I *cough cough*)and people would have still gone to see it just because it is Star Wars.

January 13, 2016 17:21:10

That's chump change to these guys. Look at Ndamukong Suh. The dude has been fined countless times and he is still taking cheap shots at other players. http://www.freep.com/story/sports/nfl/lions/2014/12/29/ndamukong-suh-fine-history/21025507/

January 13, 2016 17:11:44

He got a three game suspension. He will appeal it and get it down to a one game suspension. That is not enough!

January 11, 2016 15:06:17

They aren’t victims but they still need to be reformed. If your dog bites someone and you just put it in its cage without teaching the dog that what it did was bad and how to be a better dog, it’s not going to change. Once you let that dog out of its cage it will be the exact same dog. If you take that dog to training classes and reward it when it’s good, it will learn the proper way to function.

January 8, 2016 17:21:12

Do we want college to become as corrupt as professional leagues, because this is how you do it? Smaller schools wouldn’t stand a chance to big schools that could afford greater pay.

January 8, 2016 14:52:03

People will break the law regardless. Implementing more gun laws will not stop people who want to murder from murdering. Rape is illegal, but people still rape.

January 8, 2016 14:42:22

The guns used in the San Bernardino shooting were purchased legally 3 or 4 years ago.

January 7, 2016 20:29:19

An AAP study in 2013 showed that 92% of physicians who were the first to see potential ADHD patients did NOT follow accepted guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD. http://www.modernhealthcare.com/article/20140318/NEWS/303189948

January 7, 2016 20:27:33

I wasn’t trying to down talk the disorders, just addressing how many people don’t actually have them.

January 5, 2016 16:52:34

Finally someone who's level headed! You should come join us in the homeopathic medicine debate! https://riothouse.com/debate/FBD58A9C-E455-A26E-F0F0-FDFC5C691899

January 5, 2016 13:50:17

No one is denying that the earth's climate is cyclical. Never has it changed at such a fast pace.

January 5, 2016 13:44:57

During June, the average temperature across global land and ocean surfaces was 1.58°F (0.88°C) above the 20th century average. This was the highest for June in the 1880-2015 record, surpassing the previous record set last year in 2014 by 0.22°F (0.12°C). The June globally-averaged land service temperature was 2.27°F (1.26°C) above the 20th century average. This was the highest for June in the 1880-2015 record, surpassing the previous record set in 2012 by 0.11°F (0.06°C). The June globally-averaged sea surface temperature was 1.33°F (0.74°C) above the 20th century average. This was the highest for June in the 1880-2015 record, surpassing the previous record set last year in 2014 by o.11°F (0.06°C). This data and much, much more!

You may not see any repercussions of climate change in your lifetime, but your kids and your kid’s kids most definitely will.

December 1, 2015 14:03:18

Trump isn’t really calling for anything that will break the budget. If anything he could probably use that against his opponents.

November 24, 2015 20:16:57

When you go to the hospital for treatment, doctors focus on saving your life – not someone else’s.

November 24, 2015 19:11:09

Well they have a while to fix that. FIFA wouldn’t allow the World Cup to operate in those conditions. People would die.

November 24, 2015 19:10:04

The stadiums are supposedly going to be getting some advanced air-conditioning technology.

November 24, 2015 15:02:35

You can still evaluate them based on how much better they are than their competition.

November 20, 2015 19:09:20

After a drug is invented we have two options: test it on animals before letting a human try it, or we can give it straight to humans and see what happens to them. Is it right to give a human a drug we haven’t tested before? No. Is it right to give animals a drug we haven’t tested before? No. But we have to do one or the other. In my opinion, testing it on animals and risking their lives over humans is the better option.

November 19, 2015 17:41:14

The flags keep players safe. As much as we all love to see a big hit, they are really messing up players. Someone can only take so many big shots to their head and concussions before their mental health will suffer.

November 19, 2015 13:48:27

These days, producers are looking for Oscars, not the audience’s emotional investment. It’s a shame.
