The DACA and DREAM act
The DACA and DREAM act are good for America. DACA beneficiaries and DREAMers are young people who often had no say in the decision to come to the USA. They call this country their home and in many cases they only speak English. DACA beneficiaries contribute to society: they go to school, they pay taxes, they participate in the workforce, they have bought houses, started businesses, they have built lives. Research by the Center for American Progress has shown that the DACA and DREAM act have a positive impact on America´s economy. Not only would if be unfair to these young people to take away their legal right to work and squander their talents and opportunities, it would also mean eliminating this economic growth.
