Mute The Mics

Presidential debates should enforce the time limitations that are agreed upon by both candidates by muting the microphone when they reach the allotted time. Also, while one candidate is answering a question, the other’s microphone should be muted. This will stop them from interrupting each other and keep the debate flowing like a debate should. We shouldn’t be voting for the candidate who can be the loudest and most outspoken but rather for the policies and plans they have for America. Anderson Cooper can plead for the candidates to abide by the rules as much as he wants but it never works. Muting the microphones is the only way I can think to bring order to these debates.
